Waiting for Tai...

We are beside ourselves. We're on puppy watch 2007. You see, with Liam now graduated (and not going in for training until he was 22 mos) we have not had a puppy since November of 2004.

That was a long time ago.

And yes, Paige is a puppy, but a really BIG puppy - 16 mos now. But there is something about the little guys: their little faces, the Frito-feet, the puppy-breath.

We realized that after raising two graduates, we realized that some of the puppy toys were... threadbare to say the least. Our boys were not especially destructive (and were given Kongs when they were ) so much has survived their puppy hoods, but we decided to get some new things. We went a little crazy on the site, new soft toys, new travel bowls, and Big Sister Paige got a pretty new collar. Oh, and let us not forget, the ubiquitous busy bags.

So we have all this stuff, waiting for Tai. And waiting and waiting.

Friday can't come soon enough.

I'm so jealous!! I want to be waiting for a puppy :-) I'm counting down the days til I come home for summer in May when I can have a puppy (even if it's only temporary!). Some friends from college are coming home with me and insist that I puppysit while they're there so they can see Alisa with a dog. Enjoy your last few nights of sleep for awhile :-) And, when Tai finally does arrive, enjoy the puppy breath and frito-feet for me!

Hi I raise for Guiding Eyes for the Blind and found your blog on Sarah's. Congrats on your boys and Paige and fingers crossed for Friday to come quickly. I know what it is like to wait (impatiently) for a puppy to arrive. May I link to you.

Thanks you guys!! Alisa, when you get home, come to a puppy class up at the school and you can handle Paige or Tai (depending on who we have when), it's got to be hard to be that far away!

Joanna, we will probably post so many pictures, you will think the paparazzi went to puppy pick up!

Hi RollerCoaster~ link away. Very ironic, we call it the rollercoaster sometimes too!

It sure is a roller coaster. Today proved it. It was my Morky's last class and my Glaciers first class. I didnt know whether to be happy or sad. Thanks for letting me link. ~MeKalea
